OPPD troubleshooters located the source of this evening’s outage: a bad cable near 51st and Leavenworth Streets. The outage has been restored and a splicer crew is coming in to pinpoint the fault location and make all necessary repairs.

A circuit lockout this evening led to an outage affecting 917 customers near the University of Nebraska Medical Center. The cause is under investigation by OPPD troubleshooters, working in the north/south area between University Drive North and Pacific St., and an east/west region from 46th Ave. and University Drive West.
